Alive and Still Kickin' Good! :D

Well, it's almost been two years since I last opened this account and update it.And it has to do with the "Busy Time" thing again. But I am so happy that I was able to make it and update here again. :) My old blogs were products of my responsibility to posts blogs about what's happening during my last year stay in my High School Alma Mater, St. Charles Academy. And here I am now, a third year Accountancy student of Kingfisher School of Business & Finance. :) Yes! You won't believe it! I've survived two years and a half of difficult and frustrating struggles of being an Accountancy student. And yes, it is really part of every student's life.
And also a Yes, that I am really proud of where I am now. ;) A school with a legacy of quality education and with a unbreakable tradition of excellence, 100% Passing Rate for CPA Board Exams. :) But for now, all I can do is to strive harder and harder because I have a dream. A dream of being part of that excellence, contributing to that legacy and most importantly, being a successful passer of the CPA Board Exams hopefully with flying colors, as our school always refer to. Being at this stage or point of my college life is like being or riding on a roller coaster. You have to sit back not to fully relax but to ride wheel of challenge, focus not to fall, have a firm and great "GRIP" to your faith and in GOD, and make it up to the end despite of much struggles that this ride is giving you during the entire course of this journey. So, for all incoming college students not only those who are making up their minds on choosing BS Accountancy as their course, I have one thing to say and just keep it as an advice, "Choose what's in your heart, for it will lead you to what you knew you do best because when working time comes and you're not really interested on your chosen career, it will mean NOTHING at all. Yes, it's no doubt that our parents' know what's best for us, but this annotation is NOT without limitation. You alone are the only one who knows yourself well. We might need our parents' advice but talk to them wholeheartedly and let them know how you feel and surely, they will understand. Just always keep in mind that those people who became achievers in life did also a lot of struggles to make it to their positions BUT the difference is that, during those times when they felt down, they were not that feel like giving up because they were HAPPY on what they were doing BECAUSE they LOVE it. Their mind, soul and heart were into it, that they keep on looking forward no matter how life knock them down. So, think of it. If it's about financial matters or something else that were really important that hinders what you want, then pray and ask God, because, everything that happens has their own reasons, we may not sometimes understand but we must simply trust His Will. :) Decide as early as possible and act before it's too late. ;)
Happy Reading ;) (A photo taken during our High School Uniform Day in Kingfisher)

Lovin' FEB.eristic!

Roses are red, violets are blue, candies are sweet...and so are YOU! :)) February was done...but its fresh and sweetest ambiance was still left here in my heart and my mind. Lots of moments, experiences filled with love and sweet thoughts left my mind crazy and erotic. Hahahaha.
Some really do believe that Feb. is a month intended for Lovers and couples only, but for singles like me, they said that it's a month of devastation for us. But who really thinks that way? No, it's not! We could treat this month as a month of happiness and satisfaction though we don't have partners or lovers to share our love with. Who says that we couldn't share our love with our Family, friends and of course, GOD! We could really enjoy this month sharing our love with them, spending our time with them. Well, I really enjoyed this month a lot, not just only because it's a month for love but because of those never-forgotten memories it had left me and my entire life. :D
After our 4th MPT exam, we were really in our practice, busy for lot of waiting activities we were involved. I am one of the crew in he SCAAC and for our SCI-MATH exhibit. I really enjoyed the day before the opening of the 42nd Foundation Anniversary of our school held on Feb.20,2011. I helped in making some cute designs for our SCI-MATH exhibit and as well as in cutting for the designs in our SCAAC exhibit. The most exciting and enjoying part of those experiences was the moment We ate together with Ma'am Malong and Ma'am Mila. They really treated us like their real children for they treated us lunch. Hahahaha. Who could really forget the punch lines of Ma'am Malong: "Pamela, uput mo tan... Niya ney baaw ay... Mansira ka sika ta ni patpayatot ka,,, agka amo mampipising ay? Niya mampising ka". Then Pamela replied: "Ma'am...di ko na po 'to mauubos! di ako kumakain ng ampalaya! huhu"
Hahahaha. We really enjoyed those moments with them. :)) Those moments were really treasured ones. After helping and accomplishing those assigned tasks to us. We went home and get ready for the next day which will be the opening of our Foundation.
SCA celebrated a thanksgiving mass that next day, we took that moment also to show our parents our love and gratitude to them by giving them a rose. :)) On that day also, once in my life, I've experienced to go to a motorcade and to walk a distance leading the path of the parade. All of us, CAT officers were obliged to lead the motorcade by walking in our platoon formation. We really enjoyed that much though we were really tired and exposed to sun's heat and complaining for we would be so tanned for the JS. Hahaha After that long time of walking, at last we arrived at our school and watched the Drum and Lyre exhibition performed by the SCC. Atlast! we went to our designated jobs as a crew to the different exhibits. I really really, enjoyed a lot entertaining guests esp. some parents. :D
"Just think of Happy thoughts then you will fly!" said Daniel as Peter Pan in our play. I am the one narrating the play and with some of the characters being played by my classmates, we let all the audience in a while to be in the land and world of fantasy and magic where they don't have to grow up and think of growing up. We performed our play thrice. And though we were all tired, it's all worth it because of the laughs, the happiness and the amazed faces of the audiences we saw the time we were performing. Those reactions were enough to say that they really enjoyed it , had a great time watching it and of course that their payment was all worth it. And not just that. After our play, every time they met us, they complemented us that we were really great in performing it. Even on Facebook, they chat with us about that play, that they really enjoyed it.♥ :D
"Riyah, 16!"---Hahaha... I did think of that, someday I'll be on an stage too being one of the candidates for a pageant! Hahahaha As they have said, there's no limit in dreaming! As the candidates for the Search for Mr. and Ms. SCA 2011 is going on, with a banner stating "Go Angelo "GELO"!", my phone rang, it's my mother telling that my gown for JS should be picked up hat afternoon. So I rushed to the gate and went inside our car to go to the dress shop. But I promised to my classmates that I'll return as soon as I get there in our school. I've fitted the gown and went back to our school for the pageant, it's almost around 6:30 P.M. but there were still a lot of students watching. So I chatted with my classmates left their to cheer Angelo, if what;s going on. I'm happy to hear that Angelo got some awards already. So as time passed by, we didn't notice that it's already passed nine. When the question and answer came, we all crossed our fingers for Angelo for we knew that he could answer it. "If you were given a chance to talk to God at this very moment, what would you tell him?"--- this was the question for all of them. The winning answer for the audience and the judges was the answer of Chester Cacal, "I would tell God that in the darkness, he gave me light coming from a star,,, realizing that the star was me!" What an answer!?! It's really had a deep meaning that made him to the top and crowned as the Mr.SCA 2011. Angelo placed as the 2nd runner up, but it's okay for we know that he deserved it and that he really did his best but maybe it isn't his time to be on the top. We were really happy for him. :D
"okay 1...2...3... CLICK!(flashed)"--- that's the official photographer for our JS the INFINITY. Hahaha I laughed out loud the time they're taking me a pic for the photographer said " sige...landian mo pa! 'yan!"... Hahaha
I felt like a real model of a mag. Hahaha We enjoyed our JS taking pics and of course cherishing the moments we spent in dancing. I am Proud that my first dance is one of my close friends in SENIORS... DEAN CRUZ! :D I was so shocked when he asked me to dance with him, with matching rose..hahaha He asked me " Riyah,,, baka nagsisisis ka na ako first dance mo?", I replioed "Grabe ka met. hindi ah, ta buti nga close ko at barkada ko first dance ko!" Hahahaha.. He confessed to me that he's quite shy to the girl he likes (one of my classmate) ^_^.
We enjoyed dancing in our reggae though we didn't practice that much and we are so happy that we didn't expect to won as the 3rd place. Hahaha
"And ladies and gentlemen.. we now go to the Mr. & MS. Best Attire and dress for the Seniors. Coming from IV-ST.FRANCIS!.. For Mr.Best attire, we have.........(music)... Mr. PAUL JOHN CANDOR! We all cheered and teased Paul john for he was so shocked and so we are! I am so fun in teasing him that I didn't heard that they also announced that I'm the Ms.Best Dress in Senors. Filled with mixed emotions, I together with Paul went up the stage to get our award. It's so ackward to think that we had the chance to win that title! Hahaha... I could never forget such moments in my life. :D

February made my High school life so exciting and
UNIQUE! :D Now, I could really say that LOVE... LOVE... LOVE... I LOVE FEBeristic! :D
Keep on rockin FEB!

(Congrats also Sir for being the over-all chairman of the 42nd foundation of our school.. You reallydid a great job! Job well done SiR!... Thousand THUMBS UP for you! LIKE. :) )

Strong winds so cold blew... The cold breeze seemed to drown everyone's lungs. No doubt... It's the month of January. January was a very special month for me, there were a lot of fun and exciting activities that had happened. Let those moments be shared with you through this JANUARISTIC BLOG. :D
"Come with me in a place where you never had to grow up... Never is an awfully long time", those are some never-forgotten lines in our play. We spent our 2 Saturdays just to master everything and to have a major practice. It was so much fun having those moments... particularly the "KILIG Moments". :)) Peter Pan is a fairytale story with a 14 year old boy named Peter Pan who has no worries about growing up...'cause he never have to. Wendy, character of my best friend Vina, is a strong character also, we had a great choice when we selected her. She's so good. She imitated the character of Wendy, they were like sisters in real life when it comes to acting and of course their character. Making some props and finding a lot of songs too was so fascinating but enjoying. :) We all had a team work for that. A lot!
Getting so busy with some other business also came too, like our practicum in T.L.E.
Filipino Style was the theme of our class.
And we imitate a native fiesta ocassion just like shown in the image above.. ;)) The picture shows our setting for the ocassion. But as Ma'am Irene said "Before putting an occasion, it really needs a lot of PLANNING and of course PREPARATION. And the CALL for TEAMWORK is really needed". Few days before the said occasion, our class held a lot of meetings. We really need to talk about it for we want it to be so special and fun. So we had the plan of making a PROMISE LETTER, stating that we will bring the following : "kamatis-tagalog, PHIl. Fruits, Flowers, and banana leaves/cococnut leaves and Anahaw leaves". We arrived at that plan to make sure that everyone will bring those mentioned needed stuffs. And the day for the practicum came, we all got busy with designated business for the practicm. I together with Joyme and vina were assigned to go to the market and buy some "TAHONG" and of course we'll cook it because it's one of the dishes. We went to the market at around 6:00 in the morning and arrived at the school before 7:00. When we arrived, everyone's busy with their jobs as well, we didn't cook the tahong that time, 'cause it's too early so we helped to others. We finished the native bamboo container for the "PUTO CALASIAO".
It's so nice that everyone will surely be attracted to get some. :)) At around 9;30, we started to clean the Tahong to prepare it for cooking. While we were busy cooking the said dish, everyone was so busy too, others were inside the classroom setting up the tables, others outside "mankakayas ya kawayan" in Panggasinan to be used in the "Palo Sebo", and others for the native Fil. games. At last, time for the practicum came! All were in their great costumes. Other class theme's are : Japanese and Italian and as well as Filipino.
Every class prepared a cheer and a dance no. acoordingly to their themes. My other classmates who were really great in dancing, danced the national dance of the Philippines named "CARINOSA". They danced it very well that we all clapped our hands happily. :D
There was so called "MUSIKO" in our occasion. It lokked like a real native fiesta. We all enjoyed those moments.
The judges came as well, with their happy faces, we could really said that they were happy and contented. :)
For me, it was the greatest fiesta I've ever attended before. The mouth watering foods, the set-up and all the games and stuffs, were almost PERFECT! :D We enjoyed it so much 'cause with that also, we only proved that FRANCISCANS 10-11 had a great teamwork and a strong BONG! Inseparable and Unbreakable class ever! :D
After that practicum, we had to have practice for Peter Pan, we attended and of course it's examination week so we had to review also so we don't spend the 2 day-weekend practicing. We had the practice the day of Saturday. :)
Examination week passed, Sunday came, Jan.23,2011, a very memorable day for me, 'cause I've been the commentator in our Barangay (MANZON) for the special mass precided by ARCHBISHOP SOC :)), it was really a great pressure to be invited to b the commentator and meeting Fr. Soc :)). He's so nice, a really nice person!
He even tried to get a pancit for me during the lunch time ..hahaha Days passed and I have to review again, for the ALDCS' Bible quiz. I'm the 4th year contestant. I together with Joshua of 3rd year, Pamela of 2nd year and Danielle of 1st year joined the said contest. We spent our weekend for the review. At the time for the contest, we all had our head bowed and frightened but as we asked for the guidance of God, it's all like just a blink of an eye that we had only one mistake at the easy round. We were upset at the average round 'cause we only got 4 points out of 20. :( But as we went on the Difficult round, we had 12 points. :) Making us 2nd placer. It hurts that it's only a point we missed that we could be on the top but we are very thankful to god that though we didn't make it to the top at least we make it for the 2nd place. :D
I'm so happy with my group mates. I could never forget the laughters we shared during that day, during the contest. :))
The next day to that was our recollection.
Our last recollection at SCA. We participated well, and enjoyed ourselves for we knew that God is with us. WE learned a lot of things. And though it's the last recollection for us, we could never forget how that recollection made the new us now. :)) Recollection with Fr. Mario was so much fun "BEY-BEH" (their expression" :))

Being an optimistic person brings a lot of challenges but it brings a lot more possible means and solutions to resolve those obstacles. I really admit that I'M A JANUARISTIC PERSON--- A person who looks forward to January with greater faith and hope so that other coming months will also be on their ease making moments a more lot of fun and excitement. :D

This -Ember BLAsT!!! :D

Time goes by and by, it can’t be stopped…no one could make it to go back to the past. As they say, “You could only step on the same river once.” It’s been almost six months to us spending our life at school as senior students. It’s been six months for us that we had experienced the life of a senior , a graduating student. And it would all be three months only for us to enjoy the company of each other, to share moments of laughters, hurts and happiness. And what hurts most is that we had only three months lefts to stay in St. Charles Academy that once in our life we called HOME.
I could feel the “Hanging Amihan”, I already saw decors that made every house nice to call that they have the spirit of Christmas, I heard some children singing carols already, I already smelled some native cakes served during this season but most of all I already could saw enlightenment, happiness and joy in every person’s heart that really, surely and probably shows that it’s December, the month of Christmas.  Oh yes! It’s December already. One of my favorite month in the year. And as it goes, we St. Franciscans, were busy too trying to help for the preparation to our school’s Christmas Celebration. Some of our classmates were also busy practicing their skills in preparation for their RSPC and so with their coaches, Ma’am Cez and sir Mauris—our English teacher. “Uhhhh!”, that’s the word that my mouth uttered the time of the announcements had already been announced. Announcements of projects to be passed next year, our preliminary performance for Peter Pan in English, our dance (Boogie) performance and practicum for MAPEH and the preparation for the “Filipino Party” in our T.L.E. next year. Such things made us quite worried for we didn’t know what to do first. But as usual we, Franciscans, a section who will never give up and of course always giving the BEST SHOT in every performance and tasks were assigned to. So, first things first, as usual… M-E-E-T-I-N-G!  Alliana as our class president called for a meeting, what she always does. We have decided to have our practice with Peter Pan the Sunday after we attended mass for we were all choir members. About the T.L.E. practicum, we had chosen Filipino Party and had a meeting about it too. About the MAPEH Practicum, we all decided to meet by group the Saturday before our practice for Peter Pan. So that’s all our plan, and it all did happened.  We’ve met as a class that said Sunday and we all had a meeting regarding with the props to be used. We chose Peter Pan not because it’s the suggestion of Daniel (Peter Pan), but because we found the story very interesting and exciting. At first, we haven’t any idea about the adventures of him , what we all knew only is that he could fly and his enemy was Captain Hook. So some of us, including me volunteered to research about the story and its script. I found two kinds of script, one which is obviously shorter and could be printed and the one which is originally from the movie and was copyrighted, the worst is…it couldn’t be printed. We all worried about that because that’s the script we wanted to use. But for me, the shorter one is not that different when compared to the longer one. I’ve read it already and it’s really a very brief script about one of his adventure but the plot is just the same. The difference is that the script in the movie had some things not really that important that was added to spice up the movie, that was usually a movie does. So when we consulted Sir Mauris about it, they said that we should choose the shorter one because the deal is not on the script but with the performance. So Daniel, Alliana and I talked to each other, we have our meeting on how we should manage things about it specially because both of them is a RSPC participant. I’m so flattered and glad that they had consulted me and asked me to apply again my wide imagination about directing (not knowing it’s really my line since first year…haha I want to be a film director someday). So we had our plans and when the time of practice came, we divided our class, all the people who were not be going to act will manage the other important things to spice up our performance. We divided them into different areas: For the props, we made our schedule for it because Sir Mauris allowed us to meet on vacation and do such props we need. The props were managed by group, the alligator- Group of David, Daniel, Kristine, etc. The ship- JECKZ ‘s group together with Von and etc. and a lot of other things we need. Some of us were assigned with the sound, including me, Joffa, Patrisse. I had already some sound effects that can be used during the play.  And the rest who were the characters had a practice. I added some effects to it trying to imitate the movie. At our first practice we really had a hard time for it for we were not complete and were not that familiar with it. But as time went by, we slowly caught it right. The action, the diction and some accents. We had practice the half of it. And when the day of the preliminary came, we all had a deep breathe and went up to stage. When all thing were ready, I as the narrator started the story. And we are so happy that we did a great job compared with our time for practice. The judges had a smile on their faces and though they had their negative comments, as what judges always do, we were happy for they like it and we will do our very best to make it to the point that all things will be at its best. And as of now , we were preparing the props.:)
After that week, Ma’am Malong, our Religion teacher told me to be the director of the “Christmas Presentation for the coming program. I’s about the Birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Again, as a whole class, we had our unity , we divided the class for the preparation for the props to be used and for the practice. And it’s all worth it because when the time of the presentation came, held on the day of the program, as I read the script as the narrator, I could feel its solemnity, its spirit, all students kept their selves quiet as a respect. After the presentation we all excitedly gathered in one place, congratulate everyone for a job well done performance, we all gave our best for God. :) So after that, we all had our seats for we will witness the VTRs for the teacher, and because we were the 4th year star section, the VTR we’ve made for Ma’am Glo came last. After the VTR, we all in a hurry went to Ma’am Glo, hugged them and kissed them. We loved them so mush, very much, a lot. They are a mother to me.:) After that moment, we saw Ma’am Irene, we used also to call them as “MOMMY I” for they were also very close to us because they were our former adviser when we’re in 3rd year. We approached them, hugged them and kissed them, I didn’t notice, tears started to fell down on my cheeks because I really, really missed them and Ma’am I started to cry too, because they feel what we felt too. I’m so close to Ma’am I when we’re in 3rd year but now, it seemed that there were many times we didn’t talk that mush because we were quite shy also to their advisory class. And so did them to us…that’s what Ma’am Irene said. They apologized to us, “4G”, because there we many times that we didn’t talk much or none at all not like when we’re in 3rd year because they were quite shy too to their students “nab aka may masabi daw sila, na alam niyo na”---that’s what they’ve said. But we understand them too. We could also feel it. The day after the next day was our Christmas Party, we all had fun with the games prepared by Manirose. With the food, we were all contented…hahaha I rememberd when AJ and Alvin told me that they had to make their belts loose for they were both really full… HAHAHA :D After we eat, we had the gift giving. We all had fun and it’s obviously showed in everyone’s face. The next part is the “thanksgiving” saying thank you to our classmates and sorry for the hurts. We hugged each one of us and we cried, for it’s our last Christmas Party together as a class, for the 3 years we’ve been mates, friends and best friends. We all had our class picture as Daniel released the baking powder in the plastic making some particles released in the air that made us and our classroom messy. HAHA After that, we cleaned up our classroom and we had again our meeting for Peter Pan, for the division of labor since it’s our Christmas vacation to minimize the work, we made schedules of every group’s time to make their designated tasks. After that we all say good bye to each other.
Dec.21, our group in Science went to school for our project. We made our project so called “LOOPS”. We had a hard time finding the needed material “Aluminum”. But we all had fun and enjoyed making it. Some of us get vey tired sawing the ply woods to be used for the project. Angelo get hurt also with the hammer. But he continued to make it. We had a “trial and error” for the balls fell down and make it rotate the loops we made. After almost 2 hours of making it, at last! We’re done! We all decided to keep it at Maricar’s home for she’s our leader. After that, we say good bye to each other and we all went home.
Home Sweet Home! It’s very nice to stay with your loved ones specially on holidays. I spent my vacation with my family. I spent my time, updating myself with the current updates using the internet for I’m so busy that I didn’t know the latest news, updates and other things. I’m always online on my FB account trying to communicate with my friends not to miss them. I also spend my time attending some affairs in our Barangay like the Christmas Party and the Misa de Gallo. Christmas time came, we attended the last “Simbang Gabi” and after we went home, we waited for the clock to strike twelve. It’s Christmas! My mother gave us gifts and we were all thankful for that. We hugged them and kissed her. :D Our family ate together for the Noche Buena. Dec.25, it’s morning already and we had to wake up for we have to attend the mass. And so we did. Dec.26, 27. 28, 29--- the day of our Christmas Party in Manzon, I and Joyme saw each other at the party, we talked and talked because we surely missed each other. We waited for Palmera trying to wait also for his cousin, “James” (my crush)…hahaha :D But they didi not attend but Palmera’s brother did. His brother said to me that Palmera was with James and he started teasing me to him… Hahaha After that, some guys asked for our number but we did not give it because it’s personal and we don’t want it to be publicly known… Hahaha Some asked for a dance but we were too shy for that. J After the party we all went home and rested for it’s too late. Again days passed, and at last! “KABOOMM!!! KABLAMM!!” it’s new year’s eve. The noise of the horns and firecrackers filled the whole surroundings. Foods for Media Noche were already prepared. We all waited for it and when the 10-second countdown began, we all jumped with joy blowing horns and lighting the “fountains”. It’s 2011!!! It’s another year to begin! The year goes from 2KX to 2KXI. And it’s the year of the RABBIT! :D We all greeted each other a “HAPPY, HAPPY NEW YEAR!” We all ate together and after that we slept for we have to attend the mass on the first day of the year and it’s a holy day of obligation for it’s the Solemnity of the Motherhood of Mama Mary. J
Years may passed, good byes, thank you, sorry… all those words might be uttered from each person’s mouth. It’s another year that had passed, lessons, experiences and moments that had been shared with the people you love the most will last. As these treasures should be kept in heart no matter how many years may came and passed. For the hurts that had happened…”SORRY”, is the magical word and the mysterious solution is to learn from those bad experiences for they were the key to solve the next bunch of problems for the NEW YEAR to begin. Happy New Year! More powers for 2KXI and God bless!
(GOD WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT TIME YOU CALL AND NEED HIM, FOR GOD DOESN’T CHOOSE TIME, EVEN YEAR TO HELP AND GUIDE YOU… 2010 HAD ALREADY PASSED BUT GOD’S LOVE WILL ALWAYS AND FOREVER WILL LASTS! :))

Invasions of Memories :)

La...La...La... Whoa! I didn't notice at all how fast November did passed. Maybe because of so much busyness? And because of a lot of things that made our sked. very hectic that we didn't notice the time passing by. It's already December now, but I couldn't even forget the memories left to me by the month November. :)
November seemed to be a scary month for me when I was only a child, but now that I'm grown up it seemed to be a month of gathering for us. Last November 1, some of our relatives arrived from Manila. They always find time to visit here in Pangasinan specially during this seasons or special holidays. We spent our time going to the cemetery with them. But our visit to the cemetery was postponed on that day because there's a lot of people there and some of us was frightened that there might have a stampede so we decided to go there last Nov.2. We attended mass and after that we went to the tomb of my Lolo and Lola. Though it's a time to reminisce the memories of our beloved ones who were already dead, I am so happy on that day because I spent my time with the people whom I'm not that close to, making new friends with our other relatives that was on my age too. After that holiday, back to normal life, had to go to sleep early, wake up early in the morning and go to school. We are so busy on that week because we were preparing for our 3rd MPT. Lots and lots of reviewers crept us out. Oh yes! Basically, that time we admitted it, we had a little hung - over from the semestral break. Hahaha. But it's normal for us, as students so we did all our best to concentrate with the lessons for us to get high scores for the exam. Some of us may have sleepless nights during that week, but it's okay, because we are doing all those things for us to passed and made it to the point that we'll get hig grades we're really aiming for. :) After that 3rd MPT Exam, we all had enough time to refresh and to prepare for our entrance exams for the SLU-CEE held in Baguio City. We are quite nervous that time because we knew that it's a high-standard University and we were nervous that we might fail that exam.
Nov.28,210, 1:00 P.M. , that's the exact date and time of our entrance Exam. Vina, one of my bestfriends, invited us to stay in her brother's apartment in Baguio for us to stay. So we decided to went there on Nov.27 and for us there to spend the night. Sir Vincent or we used to cll his brother as "Kuya Vincent" was somehow that close to us because he became the guidance counselor of our school last school year, and he together with Sir Maurison and I had our time togther during the "relief operation" last school year as the Ambasador of goodwill. :) Going back to my story, Yeah! we arrived at Baguio on Nov.27, 5:30 P.M., the day before the actual exam. Kuya Vincent fetched us on the van terminal and took us to his apartment in "Trancoville". It's just a 15-minute ride from the city proper to his place. After we got there to his apartment and put our belongings there, we left and went to SM Baguio, Kuya Vincent treated us for dinner. :)
We had a very delicious and a hearty meal that fit our very hungry stomach. Hahaha After we took our dinner, Kuya vincent left the 3 of us for he had to leave because he had his work as a call center agent. So we decided to be there in SM. We looked for our other mates who were also there. We roamed around the mall. It's already late that night so some stores are starting to close. We bought ice crean though it's really cold, hahaha... We took pictures, and at last! We had the courage to go home. :) It's very late! 10:37 P.M., that's the time when I looked at my wrist watch. We were quite frightened that time. Imagine, just the three of us, and we were all girls. We found a hard time looking for a ride, for a taxi because there were no jeepneys that time. After 5 minutes of waiting , we finally found a taxi that took us to the apartment. Some of the board mates of Kuya Vincent were already in their rooms and maybe asleep. We were very careful that time not to made the other people in the house awakened because of us. Atlast, when we had entered the room for us, we laughed at each other's face. Hahaha. Very tired. But that doesn't stop us to do such things instead of sleeping. We had a movie marathon. Kuya vincent left us his collections of DVDs and bought us some foods to eat. A lot of chips. :) We loved it. We chose a movie but were not contented with the story so we decide to turn it off. We ate the chips but the fun thing is that Vina, starved for more food that she was pushing us to open another kind of chips. But I and Joyme were already full that time. She started to look like a child. A poor child starving for more food to eat. Hahaha. After that we all had a shower and decided to sleep and prepare for the next Big day. :) zZZzzZZ.. -_-
Tik! Tok! !Tik! Tok! My cellphone's alarm woke me up. Vina was already outside the room, at the terrace. Joyme woke up too. We all ate the cupcakes that we left the last night. After having that, we all got our forms for the exam. I and Vina didn't wrote our chosen course yet. She decided to wrote there "B.S. in Tourism". I'm the only one left. I want to be an accountant and that's what I want to take but my heart was in "B.S. in Civil Engineering" and it's like a destiny because it's course code was "23" my favorite no. and "B.S. in Accountancy" was no.1.
I end up writing nothing on my form until we decide to make a toss of coin. I prayed first to God to give me the courage and the wisdom to decide what's the right course for me to take. After a minute, Vina said that once the coin is "kara" it will be accountancy, and if it's "krus" it will be civil engineering. On the first toss, it's "krus" for civil engineering. But Vina demanded to toss it again and whatever may be the result will be the result! On the second toss, we all shouted for it's "krus" again for civil engineering. I wrote "B.S. in Civil Engineering" on my form and put a check mark on its course code "23". :) I'm happy for the result for it's what really my heart had in it. After that, Kuya Vincent had just arrived from his work and prepared us breakfast. After doing all the personal necessities, we deceide to go to the church and pray for the help and guidance of God. After going to the church, we refresh ourselves visiting a mini-mall beside the church. I couldn't remember the name of the mall but We surely enjoyed there. We went to Sm again to take our lunch and after tha, the moment of truth! The reality that the time for our entrance exam had come! We all fall in line, it's so weird that I was separated from my 2 bestfriends. I was at the other groups because the facilitators said so. After the short orientation, we all went upstairs, to their Library and took the exam. The exam lasts for almost 4 hours. It's an average exam compare to the UPCAT. :) I did all my best just to answer all the questions. After the exam we decided to have our last visit to the "Mines View". It's a 30-minute ride from the city proper. After we arrived their, we bought some souveneirs. Then we took pictures as remembrance, then we went to the apartment to get all our belongings and say goodbye to Kuya Vincent. We all gave our sincerest thanks to him for he had invited us to his place for us to stay. He's such a wonderful and nice person! :)
We took the last trip. And after 2 hours, at last we're at our homeland! Pangasinan. We missed it though it's only 2 days. Hahaha. After I got home, I put my self down on my bed and took a sleep. Morning came and I had almost the whole day telling my family bot ourtrip and exam. :)
November might be a "nonsense" month for others, but for me it's a month full of Never-forgotten HAPPENINGS! :) I've learned to be independent, to decide on my own and to follow what my heart really says and go for it!(about the course). As I always say "IF DESTINY WAS TRUE , I'LL BE IT'S NO.1 FAN!".:) For I believe that in this world of our own "destiny" could never be happened without our oen choice. For life is not a matter of chance, but a matter of CHOICE!
:) Happy Holidays!

Rockin' October

Buzz... buzz... buzz... October surely rock my senior life. It had been a very sophisticated, exciting and busy month to me. But though it really drove me crazy I surely enjoyed it. Of course, it was surely a very special moth for me because it's the month of my birthday. Oct.5, a very remarkable date for me, first because it's my birthday but aside from that, it's the date of our presentation for the english's readers' theater. When we first heard about it, we had no idea of how was it'll be going. What we all knew is that we all had to do our best to win and to represent our school for the "Eng. Fest. Div. Level".I was chosen as the narrator 2. And honestly speaking, when I first heard about the title of the story we're going to perform I felt quite not interested with it because I thought that it's just a story for children, but the time i read it i found it interesting as well. When the day of the performance came, we all went to the gym to prepare ourselves for it. We prayed and had our breathing exercise. We were the last performer, so when they called our number, we, the narrators went up the stage and so with the other characters. We began with the performance saying the title, "How Frog Went To heaven". Silence started to crack the whole venue. The strange looks of the audiences and judges make me feel so nervous but it seemed that they found it not boring the time we're the one performing it. After the performance, they all clapped their hands. I felt that my nervousness was eased by that time. All of us did a great job but the thing is there should be only one to be on the top. and when the time for the announcement of winners came, we all prayed and when they've announced that we, St.Francis was the winner, we all jumped with joy but that joy began to fade away when they said that not all of us will be joining the contest for the readers' theater for the div.level. We felt upset that time because of that news.
The very next day, Sir Maurison told some of us including me to go to the faculty. I wondered what was going on. When we arrived their, I felt so much happiness because Sir Mauris said that we'll be going to compete in the div.level for the readers' theater and we have to have ourwhole day practice that day, but another thing is I have to be on our whole day review too for the stat.quiz bee. I do not know by that time how to divide myself but I ended up with a decision that i'll be spending at least one hour for our practice and the rest is for my review. The next day, is our stat.quiz bee. I'm not that so prepared for that because we had a little time for the review but I did all my best for that as well. We won 6th place out of 23 competing schools. And it's not that bad having that place.:) After that mindful event, I had to concentrate with the readers' theater and so with my studies. And when the time for the contest nearly came, we all went to Malasiqui for our dress hunting or shall I say costume hunting.hahaha We all had a great time fitting those clothes to be used for the contest. The day before the contest, we had our general practice, we added some effects in able for our performance to be more enjoyable to watch and not kind a boring. The next day of that, was a big day for us. It's the day for the contest and we all prepared ourselves for that. And again, we were the last performer. When the time that we should went up the stage to perform, my hands began to sweat and it's like an ice, cold and plumpy. But I did all my best to do my part and surely we all did a great job that all the judges and audience began clapping their hands after we performed. Time for the announcement of winners came, our school was not mentioned yet for the 3rd and 2nd placer. Again, we all felt nervous, but that chilling moment was eased with joy the time they announced that ST.CHARLES ACADEMY, our school wasthe CHAMPION and will be representing the division of San Carlos to the regional competition. We all thanked God for we know that it's His will.
Sir Maurison announced to us that we'll be taking up the exam as a special one because we have to prepare for the regional contest. But we became upset the next day because of what they have said to us. There's a problem about the fact that we'll be joining in that competition. But thanks God, because we knew that it's His will agin for Ma'am Espino allowed us to join in thatcontest though financially we're having a problem. We were all in rush by that time. 1:00 p.m. is the alloted time for the competition to be held at Lingayen. Finally, when we arrived at the venue, we were quite shocked because the other competitors had a lot of props that fits to described that they were all very prepared. Whoa! But though we don't have so much props, we had a great faith in God that kept us to strive harder and more. Time for the performance came, it seemed that they enjoyed our performnace as well though we didn't have a lot of props. After our performance, we all proceed to the CR to change our clothes and to take some snacks. After that, the time for the annoucement of winners came, we all felt nervous again much more than the nervousness we felt during the div.leevl. All competitors were so graet and thumbs up for all of us. But we all jumped with joy when they announced that we got 3rd place. Indeed it's a great priveledge and honor for all of us winning that place representing the whole division of San Carlos.:)) We all went home with joyful hearts.
The day for us to take our exams came. We had to take 3 subjects on that day but I decided to take 6 subjects for me to make it easier to review the other 3 subjects. I finished the 6 subjects on that day. When Oct.25 came, I'm quite ill that day though I knew that it will be my first time to vote for the SK election. I did all my best to go to the voting center though I didn't feel well. Hahaha... But that illness was eased when I saw my long time crush in our barangay. He's the cousin of my classmate. I knew him since we were in our childhood days. My bestfriend joyme approached me and said that the guy is there. And when I looked at my back, yes! it's him.:) Joyme and I both laughed because we're having a crush factor for that boy.:)hahaha. After we had done voting, because it's my first time to vote, it's my first time to be applied an indelible ink on my finger, kinda exciting having it, but when I went out the classroom where I vote, it seemed that the boy is gone. Hmmm...,but it's okay because it's just an inspiration and crush. We all went home and when the counting of votes came, I with my family went back to the voting center and when we knew that my uncle won again as the Barangay Captain, we all went home with happy faces.:D
Back to school and back to examination point. After I've done with my exams with the 3 subjects, I went to the acting workshop seminar. I enjoyed a lot joining in that kind of workshop. I really love acting. I love dramas, all things in the name of theater.:) When the last day came for that seminar, I felt like I'm upset for I didn't made it to have a picture with the facilitators because at that time we went to the gym for the living rosary but it's okay because we all had a great time performing for the living rosary.
Time for camporal came, I enjoyad it a lot though it's just a 2-day camporal. Lot of activities really drove me insane.hahaha Though WE are only in the 4th place I'm very glad that I had a bubch of friends again to share those once in a lifetime experiences and moments.:)
OCTOBER REALLY ROCKS MY SENIOR LIFE. Those treasured moments really made me into a better person with a real and firm faith in God. :) Hope that November will rock my world as well, as much more.:) Cheers!

Busy??? Carpe Diem! :)

Am I dreaming? Hmmm... It's just like a blink of an eye. September is over! I'll surely miss all the memories it left my life esp. as a graduating student. But even though it had passed I could never forget such little but sweet and enjoying memories I've experienced during that month. September is the month for Sci-Math club. And I am so in on that celebration because I'm the president of that club. I have the responsiblity to take over of it whenever and whatever our subject coordinators told us about, but it's not only me who did all the work, of course with all the willingness to help of my co-officers and the members of our club. We had our meeting about that said celeb. and each of us had his/her own work to do and to accomplish. All of that were set. Until one day, Ma'am Malong, our religion teacher told us that they need our help, yes!it's us...Franciscans. Hmmm..quite exciting because we need to act for the presebtation of our school to the Marian vigil for the birthday of Mama Mary tht will be held on Manaoag. We all knew that the target were the best actors and actresses in our section. But they told us that they need 16 students. Some of us were chosen, including me. :) I'm so happy and it's my pleasure to join on that presentation because we were the one who represented our school. With the help of Sir Bryan Catama, a professor in SLU and certainly a graduate of SCA, we all did our best in practicing all the actings and other efffects that we should do to make it more real in the eyes of the audience. There was a time during those moments that I felt that I need to quit because of hectic schedule because it so happened that the next day after our presentation in Manaoag will be the first day of our Sci-Math activities for the school and I should be there to prepare and to help my co-Sci-Math club to replenish all the work we need to to finish before the day of the celebration comes. I did cry those moments because of mixed emotions. And because of we were told that day that we all got zero in our english presentation about the Greek Gods and Goddesses because we did not follow the rules told to us by Sir Maurison. We all did our best on our performance that it really husts o know that we all got zero. But when Sir Maurison reasoned out that not all of us got zero for we knew what we have done on the day of the performance. We knew ourselves, our acts on that day. so not everyone got zero. By that time, I took a deep breath for I know in myself that I didn't do any acts that was so injustice to other performers. What I know is that we all did a great job and it's as once in a life time experience. Going back to the presentation in Manaoag, I really wanted to be a part of that presentation and all I'm thinking was that was one little way to offer Mama Mary a thanksgiving specially that it's her birthday. I came with a decision of not quitting but besides I continue to join. I explained it to our Science coordinator, Ma'am Julie Ann. and I promised her to do all my best to attend on the day we'll arrive from Manaoag because it's the day for our praparation.
The day for the presentation came, we all did our best to show them what our topic was all about, to show them the reality a special child really feels. Some of the audience smiled with a tear on their eyes. They were touched of what we did and present. But you know what's the best thing? We were the loast performer that they allowed to perform because it's already dawn and a lot of other performers would have no longer time to perform. And we're so glad that we did it. We did it to perform and i really believe that it's the will of the Holy Spirit. It's the best gift we could ever give to Mama Mary that day. :) After the mass, we all took our breakfast and went home. The time I arrived our home, I took a bath and tried to get some sleep because I promised Ma'am Julie Ann to attend in the afternoon for the preparation for the activities the next day. When afternoon comes, I went to our school and help with the other members and officers in doing some things that will surely need to be accomplished. Though I felt little sleepy I really enjoyed doing things such as interpreting a song for the presentation of the Sci-Math members. I saw my one and only inspiration on that afternoon, we had a little talk and shared laughters with each other. I couldn't forget the wordds he told me when he saw me that afternoon, "pre, a-miss ta ka!:)". Hahaha... that was so sweet. He's my inspiration and he's the one who really inspire me to strive more and even harder with my studies. He's one of a kind. :)
Going back to the Sci-Math celebration, the next day, we had a little fair such as different booths that were managed by my classmates though they'r not a member of Sci-Math. and that's the best thing about it, I can now say that we, IV-St.Francis had a too tight relationship and unity with each other. And I'm so glad that after an almost one year of class division, here we are again, working as a whole, working as a class.:)) We surely enjoyed that day sharing memories that could never be erased. After that tiring and fantastic day, I spent my time watching some videos in YOutube about how to be a good Emcee. Yeah!because I'm one of the emcee for the pageant of Bb. and Ginoong Kslikasan 2010 and it's a part of the Sc-Math celebration. I did all my best to be a good emcee on that pageant. I, with Sir Richard hosted the program for the pageant. Two of my classmates joinde the pageant and David John De Guzman, our classmate won the title for the G.Kalikasan 2010. We all had a great day or shall I say, a great night? because the pageant lasted until night. But it's okay because I saw all my classmates that they all surely cheered our classmates and it all worked. :) Sci-Math celebration is over but our responsiblity will be there forever.:)
After the Sci-Math celebration, mid periodical examination came, and we all had to focus on our reviews in each subject. And after the 2-day examinaton, Intramural 2010 was on its way and we need to prepare on that week. We belong to the team "GREEN VIPERS"! During the 3-day Intrams, we all coordinated each other to do all our best in every activity and sports were in to. I'm a sepak player since I'm in 2nd year but I'd stop when I was in 3rd year. But I had to do my best to play better since I'm a 4th yera student now. And i really enjoyed this sport. :) With my team mates Joyme, Sajarah and Danica we all won on the 2 games and we're all glad because we have made it to be on the CHAMPIONSHIP game. We placed 1st place, but even though we did not nake it to be the champion, we're hapy because we enjoyed the game and there's no one to be blame because we all did our best. The best thing for me in our Intrams is that all of us worked as a team, yes!we all had different talents that could lead us to success but not only that, we all had a teamwork that lead us to success. Though we did not nake it to be the over all champion we're all glad and happy because we placed 1st place and we all had experienced the best thing in team... "TEAMWORK"! :)
Yeah! September may be a very busy month to all of us but though it's a busy month, those moments that made it busy were all spent wisely in a way that we all did our best, enjoyed it and seized evey moment out of it. Such things and moments were like "letterings" carved in a rock near a sea shore that no wave of the ocean could erased it! :) September...Carpe Diem!:)
